Welcome to Noble Spirit

Noble Spirit is a non-profit society offering a high interest, low cost course for at-risk youth and young adults which is a combination of practical hand-on skills working with horses and life-skills learning.

Please note this is not horseback riding and most, if not all, work with the horses is done on the ground.  This 12 hour* course is offered over 4 weeks (three sessions a week for 1 to 1.5 hours).
There are a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 8 students per course working with one lesson facilitator and at least one other equine expert.  Evaluation is based on attendance and participation. Students will receive a Certification of Completion upon the successful completion of the program. At the end of this course, participants will possess the skills, knowledge & attitudes to:

Trust their own instincts and abilities
Cooperate in team environments
Apply problem-solving strategies on their own
Accept responsibilities for themselves and their actions
Interpret communication, both verbal & nonverbal
Explore the values of respect & kindness
Demonstrate an understanding of basic equistrian skills

Tuition is $300 per client per course. Participation of a counselor is optional and is the responsibility of the referral agency/program.
